Job Summary

CESI is looking to hire a Professional Civil Engineer for its Concord and Statesville, NC offices. Candidates will be designing and permitting Civil Engineering projects of all types while interacting with a variety of clients.

The successful candidate will be:

• Using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Excel to complete projects
• Collaboration with fellow engineers on projects
• Coordinating with clients on their specific needs
• Mentoring junior engineers
• Completing the permits and designing for various civil engineering projects
• Interacting with a wide range of individuals
• Participation in community meetings, public hearings, etc.
• Oversee the development of each project to ensure it meets specifications
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with:
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Microsoft Excel
• At least 5 years’ experience in Land Development Design
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience in the Charlotte, NC region preferred
• Ability to communicate with a variety of individuals
• Team oriented
