Construction Material Testing Technician

Job Summary

CESI is seeking a CMT Technician for its Concord and Statesville, NC offices. Candidates will be sampling, testing, and documenting results of various materials on construction sites. No previous experience necessary.

Successful candidate will be:

• Taking test samples of soils, concrete, and asphalt
• Lifting 20 to 50 pounds multiple times a day
• Performing calculations to obtain test results
• Relaying test results to contractors and clients
• Working outdoors doing testing and calculations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds multiple times a day
• Must understand basic math skills
• Must be able to work outside
• Soil, concrete, steel, and asphalt testing experience a plus
