Job Summary

CESI is seeking a Survey Project Manager for its Concord and Statesville, NC offices. Candidates will be handling all project activities from start to finish, including supervising field and office personnel. This will be done within the guidelines set forth by CESI.

The successful candidate will be:

• Meeting with both current and potential clients
• Preparing survey proposals and contracts
• Reviewing and evaluating projects, with the aid of the project team
• Communicate with the client about progress
• Reviewing and approving project proposals
• Conducting final review of completed reports and maps
• Reviewing job cost sheets and preparing weekly or monthly billing
• Maintaining expected volume of work
• Motivating team personnel towards excellent performance
• Ensuring charges against projects are reasonable
• Reviewing completed maps to GS 47-30 standards and seal
• Adhering to design and project schedules
• Providing adequate training, technical, administrative guidance, and instructions to team personnel
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years Project Management experience
• Must have a NC PLS license or ability to obtain one in 6 months
• Must have experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Must have experience with GPS
• Must understand mapping concepts
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in surveying or civil engineering preferred
