AERIAL IMAGERY QUALITY CONTROL

Client: North Carolina Department of Public Safety

CESI performed surveys for the NC Geodetic Survey and NC Department of Public Safety. We performed quality control for various regions throughout the state using Global Navigational Satellite Systems (GNSS) survey methods. Horizontal and vertical positions were identified, and metadata was provided. The horizontal datum for the projects was NC Grid NAD 83(2011) EPOCH 2010.00 and vertical datum was NAVD88.   The purpose of the Orthoimagery project is to collect seamless aerial imagery for use by the public; local 911 agencies; and local, state and federal agencies.
