Client: Iredell-Statesville School System
Woodland Heights Middle School was designed and built adjacent to Woodland Heights Elementary School on a pre-graded building pad that was expanded to meet the space requirements of the proposed school. CESI completed approximately 30 acres of detail topography and boundary work prior to CESI completing the site design. The site design included allowance for phasing the construction as to allow the elementary school to remain in operation. Extensive rehabilitation, repair, and adjustment was performed on the site utilities and existing roadways and parking areas. CESI also completed the geotechnical evaluation for the site. The construction timeframe lasted for 2 summers and one school year.
