CESI is looking for a Surveying Technician for its Concord and Statesville, NC offices to produce drawings from surveyed field data utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Job Snapshot:

  • Perform survey computations involving coordinate geometry and trigonometry.
  • Data entry of field notes into existing computer systems.
  • Review of field notes into existing computer systems.
  • Boundary, and topographic survey computations.
  • Enter data from construction plans and CAD files in preparing for field crew staking.
  • Use plotting machines.
  • Deed research.
  • Deed plots and map checks.
  • Build 3D surface models.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1 year or more of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
  • 1 year or more of surveying experience
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Experience with boundary and topographic surveys
  • Authorized to work in the United States
