CESI Supports the New Mary Frances Wall Pre-School Center in Cabarrus County!

CESI is proud to contribute to the continued legacy of Mary Frances Wall and the redevelopment of the former Beverly Hills Elementary School site into the new Mary Frances Wall Pre-School Center.  The redevelopment project is situated on nearly 7 acres of a larger 11.5-acre parcel and will continue to allow Cabarrus County Schools to bring much-needed early childhood education services to Cabarrus County.

This transformative project involves demolishing outdated facilities, retrofitting 10,000 square feet of an existing eight-classroom building originally built in 1990, and constructing a new 24,000-square-foot facility. The new building will serve as the Mary Frances Wall Pre-School Center, designed to support up to 300 students with dedicated administrative, support, conference, and collaborative breakout spaces.

From project conception into the construction phase, CESI has provided a broad range of professional services for the project.  Our survey team provided site boundary, topographic, and right of way locating services as well as underground utility mapping and soft dig services.  Critical to site planning and structural design, our geotechnical team provided soil test boring and test pitting services to determine the presence of suitable and unsuitable soils as well as the presence of mass rock.  Preconstruction survey and geotechnical services were essential to ensure seamless integration with the new construction.  Currently, our construction materials testing and inspections team are working to assure conformity with construction plans and specifications by providing soils testing and structural concrete and masonry testing and inspections.

We’re excited to play a role in shaping the future of early childhood education in our community!
