Fred L. Wilson Elementary School Addition
In collaboration with YCH Architects and Kannapolis City Schools, Shelco is actively participating in the 31,000 SF two-story expansion of Fred L. Wilson Elementary School. This comprehensive expansion encompasses the addition of 15 new classrooms, dedicated teacher workrooms, administrative offices, and restroom facilities.
Additionally, the project will include the incorporation of a modern media center and a specialized STEM classroom. The project execution is strategically planned in phases to mitigate disruption, thereby facilitating an uninterrupted learning environment for students.
CESI has contributed significantly by conducting a geotechnical test drill evaluation and by providing professional boundary and topographic surveying services. Furthermore, CESI is currently engaged in the task of construction materials testing and special inspections required for the project.
