Hwy 49 Animal Hospital
CESI served as the Civil Engineer of Record for the total replacement facility of an animal hospital located in Harrisburg, North Carolina. Our role was to transition the project from concept to construction-ready plans, ensuring all necessary permitting and regulatory requirements were met.
CESI reviewed and validated the existing concept plan, incorporating feedback from the NCDOT and adjusting for site conditions, particularly at the Starbucks entrance.
- For the final engineering (on-site) CESI provided detailed design for site layout, grading, drainage, water and sewer services, landscaping, and erosion control.
- CESI designed and coordinated the raised median and right-in-turn lane along Highway 49, as per NCDOT requirements, including permitting and striping.
- CESI provided construction-phase support, including coordination and oversight, once the project entered the construction stage.
CESI survey teams performed construction staking services which included establishing horizontal and vertical control throughout the project to be used for machine control and staked building corners. Storm, sanitary and water as-builts were also performed to satisfy municipal requirements.
