Mini Storage Depot, 29A
CESI completed the surveying, planning, design, and permitting for a 4.3-acre Mini Storage Depot on Kannapolis Highway in Concord, NC. The I-2-zoned site allows self-storage use under specific regulations. The scope included pre-construction boundary and topographic surveys, securing permits from the City of Concord, NCDOT, and NCDEQ, addressing minimal NCDOT improvements (sidewalks, curb/gutter), public utility connections, water quality measures, stormwater detention, and erosion control.
Deliverables included a complete site design in AutoCAD Civil 3D. CESI also handled Phase 1 ESA, wetlands, seasonal high water table determination, geotechnical test pit evaluation, construction materials testing, and special inspections for the site development and multi-story building.
